Ladies, you know where this is going. Hubs was leaving me & Jax home for a few days while Pops handled my usual co-piloting duties. That meant some uninterrupted Me time, and I was not complaining. Other than missing Hubs, of course.
He had a couple of nights at home with me, then left early-thirty Monday morning. He'd be picking up Pops, then driving to Wichita Falls to load more rails for BNSF in Iowa. On his way there he'd also stop for a piggyback load going from Sherman, TX to Joplin, Missouri. Once that was tackled, he'd gain a load in Arkansas before coming home to get me and heading to Chinook, Montana, just a stone's throw from the border of our neighbor's to the north. π¨π¦
Meanwhile, home on the range was where I'd be laying my head. On my agenda was as little to do as possible. π
When I checked on Hubs, and told him he was missed, he sent me a picture of a church. That was code for letting me know I was on the road with him, if only in spirit. I am usually the one snapping pics of beautiful, historical churches and chapels. He was indeed speaking to my heart. π

I do believe that has come to be my favorite photo. π₯°π₯Ή
Beyond checking in from time to time, and offering my help online for future truck stops, etc... I busied myself with long coffees in the morning. ππ»

Snuggling as many cats and kids for as long as I could! π€ ππ»

Enjoying my space as I rested & relaxed. ππ»

Watched our boy being froggy dog to his heart's content. ππ»

Binge watched some of my favorite shows, which eventually got me needing snacks! ππ»

Hence, getting some baking in. π€€ππ»

Shopped a bit at all the fur babies' favorite store. ππ»

And before I knew it, my Love was home to collect Jax & myself. We were ready to join him and take to the highway leading to Montana.
More on that trip coming up soon....
